Our Story
The founder of New York Food Tours, Ngan C., grew up in New York City, the Food Haven of the World, and Hong Kong, the Food Haven of Asia. She has traveled extensively around the world experiencing a wide variety of foods and cultures in Japan, China, France, Italy, Netherlands and Austria. She believes that learning about food is learning about culture; that through food you can appreciate a great deal about the way people live.
Having lived in Manhattan for over 15 years, she has firsthand experience in New York City’s astounding fusion of foods and cultures. Despite her success in other respectable professional fields and multiple advanced degrees under her belt, Ngan is thrilled and committed to start a food tour company focusing on sharing local New York foods and cultures with fellow enthusiasts who want to have the most memorable and delicious time in NYC.
